Didn’t think so.
"A musical masterpiece!" IndieVerse
"he result is a song that at one moment is reminiscent of a bright, Beach Boys inspired summer day, and a passionate lasting romance at the next. For those who love a little bit of everything, The Foreign Films sure know how to deliver." Grayowl Point"It’s honestly the perfect parting wave to summer, forlorn, melancholic and celebratory in turn, layered pieces of tracks falling over each other, a delightfully cluttered 12-minute-and-43-second journey. So few artists can do this lush, grand-scope psychedelic pop as well as Majoros…" Sounds Like Work
"…a really great ride." Alan Cross
"The Foreign Films are driven by the husky voiced Bill Majoros who is something of a Prog Rock Indie Folk version of James Murphy. ‘Fall Of The Summer Heart’ is a twelve minute opus that takes on most song based genres and channels the likes of the Beach Boys, the Flaming Lips, Cast, LCD Soundsystem and ELO. The song is split in to eight sections or movements that take you on an undulating but seamless which is made impressive when you learn that this song took a year to record." Listen With Monger

Stacey - Worst Part
I’m head over heels for the gorgeous minimal beauty of this first track from Stacey:The songs on my debut EP are where my devices are laid bare.stark minimalism
waterfalls of cathedral reverbraw intimacy with the endless haze of sultry summer synth.melodies rife with the delicacy of raw, unadulterated romance.
lyrics emanating a requiem for often unrequited love.technicolor production with microscopic details.the sad ending sensual.a lot with very little.produced by Alex Bonenfant (Crystal Castles, Metz).we only worked with the essentials. One of the most intimately sensual releases I’ve received in a while. I love the whole esthetic of her this release, the soft album art, and the fact that the album will be released on unique 2gb usb cards, with no two the same.Keep an eye out for this winning release, I’d say a late entry for best of 2013 if it manages a release by the end of the year.
Good grief. The last Best In Show entry was that wonderful Hayden show during the snowstorm back in February of 2013. Sure, I’ve been to quite a few performances this year but last night at This Ain’t Hollywood was one of the most fun and captivating performances I’ve seen in years.
